A range of water-based activities and sports in Lemnos can be pre-booked. They operate from either Riha Nera beach on the outskirts of Myrina (near Sotiris Apts.) or from Plati beach, 2kms outside Myrina (near Villa Afrodite and Lemnos Village Hotel). Free transfers will be provided to/from Plati for clients staying in Myrina (if required).
Sailing
10 hours use of available Pico or Laser dinghy for 1 adult or 1 adult and 1 child, or catamaran for 2 persons (note: catamaran – previous experience required). To be taken at any time during your holiday (min. 2 hour sessions). Low Season £103; 16/7-26/8 £117 (per boat) Learn to sail (n.b. from Plati beach only) + £29 per person.
Water-skiing
10 sessions (each of c. 10 mins., longer for beginners) to be taken at any time. Low Season £130; 16/7-26/8 £150 (per person) Learn to waterski + £29 per person (available Plati only)
Windsurfing
Use of all available equipment for a total of 10 hours at any time during your holiday. All Season £90 per person Learn to windsurf (5 x 1 hour lessons) + £29 per person (available from Plati only).
Motorboats
10-15hp motorboats are for up to 4 persons. No previous experience required. The 30hp motorboat is for up to 5 (or 6 if some are children). Previous experience is required for this fast boat. 10hp Low Season £35; 16/7-26/8 £44 (per boat per day) 30hp Low Season £53; 16/7-26/8 £66 (per boat per day) – nb from Plati Beach only. Getting to Lemnos Thursday day flight Gatwick to Lemnos (note: flight via Samos on inbound). Then 40 mins by coach or taxi. It is also possible to fly from Heathrow via Athens (daily flights) – supplement on request.
