Did you know that the island of Lefkas is often hailed as the 'sailing capital' of Greece? It's for this reason we operate our sailing programme from the island's capital, Nidri. The sheltered waters, favourable wind conditions and safe anchorages, in the heart of some stunning island scenery, make this part of the Ionian Sea ideal for both the novice and experienced sailor. So if you've never tried your hand at sailing before, now could be the perfect time - a week's sailing in May is now just £399 per person!
 
We have two different programmes depending on whether you have previous sailing experience or not:

For those with little or absolutely no experience of sailing we have our Learn-to-Sail programme where you are living on and being taught how to sail a yacht whilst cruising the Greek Ionian Islands as part of our small, social and lively flotilla.

Alternatively, for the experienced yacht sailors either travelling solo or as a couple wishing to share a yacht with other sailors, we have our Pot-Luck programme. We will match the crew based on the information sent to us on the booking form. The pot-luck yachts will be part of the flotilla with the tuition yachts. Pot-luck yachts will have a maximum of four persons on a two cabin yacht (six berth), and six on the larger three-cabin yacht (eight berth). The same applies for the Learn-to-Sail except that there will also be an instructor aboard.

The one week price for either of the above holidays is £399 per person including flights from Gatwick and transfers in Greece (£35 supplement for Manchester flights). The two week price is £599 per person.
  
Twin-Centre Holidays
Why not consider booking a twin centre holiday with one week sailing followed by one week relaxing at the Armonia Hotel? Based on two persons sharing, from the 11th May, this works out at £629 per person. If travelling solo the price is £679 per person. Again, this is departing Gatwick on the 11th May (£35 supplement Manchester).

When you consider that a five-day sailing course in the UK costs around £500, these are really very good value holidays; if you are unable to participate yourself, please recommend us to any friends or relatives who you feel would enjoy learning to sail in the sun.

Please note:
Payment for Yacht Damage Waiver, Fuel, End of Charter Yacht Cleaning, Bed-Linen Laundry and a Souvenir Chart of our cruising area (one per booking) is made on-site in cash and for the pot-luck this is £40 per person for one week. Learn-to-Sail clients pay £70 per person for one week as this also includes, in addition to the above, the initial contribution to the food kitty, log-books and certification, and all on-board expenses such as mooring fees, etc.
